Endpoint Welcomes Leslie Stoll, Expanding Expertise in Higher-Order Surgical Research Models
With over two decades of experience in advanced surgical procedures, peri-operative care, and GLP-compliant research, Leslie Stoll strengthens Endpoint’s ability to deliver high-quality, reproducible outcomes in higher-order surgical research programs.
Endpoint Preclinical is excited to welcome Leslie Stoll, SRS, LVT, LATG, to our Expert Network. For more than 25 years, Leslie has been at the forefront of surgical research, guiding complex, GLP-compliant programs from planning through execution. Her career includes extensive work with higher-order surgical research model procedures such as telemetry device implantation, access port placement, hepatic biopsy, and reproductive surgery, along with peri-operative care and post-surgical recovery. “Leslie brings a unique combination of advanced surgical expertise, strong commitment to animal welfare, and a proven ability to mentor surgical teams,” said Cole McLarty, CEO of Endpoint Preclinical. “She is trusted by large study sponsors to lead the surgical execution of their most complex programs, and her skills in higher-order research models will enhance our ability to support a broad range of procedures.”
During her long tenure at a large-scale CRO Leslie led surgical teams, advised study directors on surgical protocols and anesthesia approaches, and worked with veterinary staff to resolve technical challenges. Notably, she refined an incisional wedge hepatic biopsy technique which led to increased tissue yield and improved fetal collection endpoints for higher-order surgical research models. These contributions reflect her passion for technical problem-solving, method refinement, and operational efficiency.
Her experience also includes ultrasonography for pregnancy determination and fetal measurement, radiology for skeletal assessments, and advanced tissue sampling across multiple species. She has broad expertise in peri-operative care, analgesia, anesthesia, and wound management, with extensive work under strict GLP conditions and a strong understanding of documentation, audit preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
Leslie served as President of the Academy of Surgical Research from 2021–2023, leading the organization’s initiatives and annual meetings. She has mentored surgical teams, refined training protocols, and promoted consistency in high-volume research environments.
“I’ve always had a passion for surgery and for everything that happens before and after, including the preparation, the anesthesia, the wound care, and the teamwork that makes each procedure successful. Joining Endpoint gives me the opportunity to share my skills and experiences as a surgeon with others, to mentor surgical teams, and to help ensure that every step of the process is done with precision and care.” – Leslie Stoll
We are pleased to welcome Leslie to the Endpoint Network. Her technical depth, leadership experience, and commitment to surgical research will support the delivery of reliable, high-quality outcomes for complex preclinical programs.
